The direction information refers to the main travel direction.

The robot can travel both forwards and backwards. The current direction of travel of the robot is indicated by the LED bars at the front and rear. The LED bar in the direction of travel lights up white, the LED bar against the direction of travel lights up red.

Checking the switched off robot

After the robot has been unloaded and unpacked, it is recommended to check the robot for damage and completeness.
Requirements:

  • The robot is completely unpacked.

  • Transport locks have been removed.

  • The robot is switched off.

Positions to be checked:

  • Tight fit of the housing parts.

  • Firm seating of the emergency stop buttons.

  • Firm seating of the key switch.

  • Integrity of the housing parts.

  • Integrity of the optical hoods of the safety laser scanners.

  • Integrity of the windows, sensors.

  • Smooth operation of the column rotation.

  • Smoothness when pushing the robot.

  • Locking of the backpack.

When all positions have been checked and are considered to be OK, the power can be switched on and the verification of the switched-on robot can be carried out.

Checking the switched on robot

Prerequisites:

  • Inspection of the switched-off robot did not reveal any defects.

  • Tower turned in the direction of the backpack.

Execution:

  1. Switch on the robot via the key switch.

  2. Check the charge status of the batteries. Charge the robot if necessary.

  3. Home the robot.

  4. Drive a small distance with the robot and check whether the manual signals are implemented correctly.

  5. Calibrate the cameras.

If all steps have been carried out without any recognizable errors, the robot can be put into operation.
