How to take the robot in and out of operation using ARC
General Information
TORU Robots can be in one of the four possible states listed below:
State | Meaning | It can be set by |

Deactivated | The robot was taken out of operation by a user. To make it work again, you need to activate the robot. | Customer |
Maintenance | The robot was taken out of operation by Magazino for scheduled maintenance. | Magazino |
Inoperable | The robot was taken out of operation by Magazino because of an unscheduled malfunction. | Magazino |
Taking robots out of service
In ARC, go to the Fleet Overview in the left-hand menu:
Make sure that in the top bar, you have selected the menu item “TORUs”.
You should now see a list of all robots in your respective locations. Click on the three-dot menu to the right of the robot that you want to take out of service.
An options panel will appear on the right:
Select “Deactivate after tour” if you want the robot to first finish all current jobs and then return to charging.
You can also select “Remove from service” to take the robot out of service immediately. If the robot currently has boxes in the backpack, a tutorial will be triggered for you to empty the boxes.
Select “confirm” to take the robot out of service.
The robot is now taken out of service. It will only resume work if you put it back into service. If you need any assistance regarding this robot, please contact Magazino at: support.magazino.eu
Magazino will not proactively check robots that you have taken out of service.
Putting a robot into service
You can only put robots into service if they are in the “Deactivated” state:
Select the robot you want to put into service (either by clicking on the robot icon or in the Fleet Overview section of ARC).
Select “Activate”.
Select “Confirm” to put the robot into service.
The robot will start to work again once orders are assigned to it.
